The Northeast Policy Workgroup is please to release its report from the Alcohol and Other Drug Policy Forum held in Danvers, MA this past November. We enjoyed the group’s active participation that night.  From the discussion, it seems as though the salient themes to address were:

• Increase resources and funding for prevention, treatment, and recovery programs.
• Reduce the stigma placed on individuals in need of treatment.
• Increase parent/family support groups, resources, and education.
• Reduce insurance barriers for treatment.
• Improve the continuity of care/aftercare.
